Dan Giraldo is a Wieland Board Member and Advisor.  Dan is currently Senior Vice President for Bank of America, leading Bank of America’s Environmental, Social and Governance work for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada.  He is also responsible for local market strategic planning, philanthropic contributions, sponsorships and events, employee volunteerism, internal and external communications and relationships with public officials and community stakeholders. 

Prior to joining Bank of America, Dan was the Chief of Staff for the Speaker of the Assembly, John Oceguera during the Nevada 2011 Legislative session.  Prior to the Nevada Legislature, Dan was the District Director for Congresswoman Dina Titus.  During his time with Congresswoman Titus, Dan was responsible for managing all operations and staff for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District for a population of one million constituents.  Earlier in his career, Dan worked as a Neighborhood Liaison for Clark County Commissioners where he served for eight years working in the South Central areas of Clark County. 

Dan is a graduate of the UNLV Hotel College and began his career in the food and beverage industry working with multiple restaurant organizations locally, regionally and nationally.

Dan's passion is working with the community and giving back . He volunteers his time serving on Non-profit boards such as Habitat for Humanity; the Public Education Foundation;  Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT) and was appointed to the Workforce Connection board for southern Nevada.  He also serves as President of the UNLV Rebel Soccer Foundation an organization that is supporting student-athletes involved with soccer programs at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
