Tracee's 25-year career in the hospitality, entertainment, gaming and tourism industries encompasses varied marketing, sales and operating responsibilities for iconic hotel, restaurant, nightlife/daylife, retail, community and residential brands.
She has had executive oversight of all marketing disciplines including brand strategy and development, consumer research, digital marketing, advertising, web development, CRM/CX, public relations, creative, promotions/campaign development, partnerships, customer/business development, and VIP programing.
Tracee formed The Wieland Group, a transformative organization that is part consultancy, part agency and part braintrust. Her progressive style incorporates "Collectives" or groups of key experts brought together to solve today's multi-dimensional business needs.
One of Tracee’s most notable career highlights includes executive marketing oversight for MGM Resort’s urban mixed-use development – CityCenter. Tracee was responsible for all project research, community brand development, programming, promotion, and communications. CityCenter (18 million square feet) was positioned as a destination and community, with development costs over $8.5B and luxury real estate sales over $1B.
During her tenure at Hakkasan Group as VP of Marketing, Tracee was a major force in altering Las Vegas’ market mix. Hakkasan Group’s efforts helped shape what Las Vegas is today by creating experiences that attracted and increased the attention of the millennial generation.
Tracee has also worked on multiple marketing development projects globally for Hakkasan Group and Caesars Entertainment (CET) including the opening of the first Caesars Palace outside of Las Vegas; Caesars Bluewaters Dubai, a fully integrated resort on a destination island.
Lastly, Tracee has led global marketing technology teams focused on driving CRM/CX innovation for Intercontinental Hotels Group, the second largest hotel company in the world.
Tracee’s rich experiences have driven innovation and produced record-breaking results, culminating in numerous recognitions and awards throughout her career. A graduate of the UNLV Hospitality College Master’s Program, Tracee is well respected by her peers, her community and among UNLV’s academic leaders.
In her free time, you can find her on the soccer field cheering her daughter on, hiking, traveling and rescuing dogs with a soft spot for dachshunds.
